Product Function Quickfloor is a full-bodied epoxy paint for a tough, attractive and long lasting finish to most floor surfaces. It will withstand arduous industrial or commercial pedestrian and vehicular traffic. It is easy to keep clean, resists scuffing and marking keeping a good decorative finish for many years. Being a water based paint, Quickfloor has a very low odour, is non flammable, non-hazardous and is environmentally friendly. Quickfloor is ideal for use on concrete, masonry asphalt and wood. Quickfloor is economical and versatile, one or two coats will suit most requirements. Quickfloor can be applied to damp surfaces and is easy to apply by roller or brush. Quickfloor is ideal for workshops, factories, warehouses, garages, showrooms, farm buildings, conservatories, changing rooms, toilets, pool surrounds, cellars, shops and food premises. Quickfloor has a long pot life, dries overnight and it fully cured in 5 to 6 hours. Quickfloor is resistant to most common chemicals including oils and petrol. Quickfloor provides a waterproof barrier on damp concrete, dries to an attractive low-gloss finish in a basic colour range. Quickfloor is also available in a high gloss finish. Quickfloor is supplied in conveniently sized 2.5l plastic tubs with matching pots of hardener and is available either clear or coloured. Stock Colours Preparation Quickfloor should only be applied to sound, grease-free surfaces. Pot holes and cracks should be repaired before painting. The coating must not be applied where there is a risk of running water, heavy condensation or temperatures below 5°C. Bare concrete and other porous substrates must be primed. Prime only with Quickfloor Clear when: 1. The concrete is damp. 2. The finished foor will be subjected to heavy contamination with liquids or chemicals. 3. The most durable job is required. Alternatively, dry concrete intended for light industrial use need only be primed with Polybond PVA or similar, diluted with 4 to 5 parts of water, depending on porosity. After priming, one coat of Quickfloor Finish in the desired colour will give an acceptable result at minimum cost. Apply two coats on areas of high wear or when the most durable job is required. For a really glossy finish, apply a topcoat of Quickfloor Clear over the colour. Previously coated surfaces in sound condition will not need priming, just one or two coats of the finish. Mixing Quickfloor is a two component product. Base and Hardener are supplied in matched quantities and must be thoroughly mixed together before use. Do not attempt to split the packs. Mixed material has a pot life & must be used immediately. Application By short pile lambswool roller. Allow overnight or six to twelve hours between coats. Wash equipment in cold water at 1 hour intervals. Drying Quickfloor will accept light trafc after approximately 24 hours at 15°C. and will be fully cured in 5 to 6 days at 15°C. These times will vary according to temperature. Non-Slip Surfaces Cast an excess of grit into the frst coat of Quickfloor whilst freshly wet. Leave overnight then sweep away loose grit. Using a fairly stif brush, apply another coat to encapsulate. Coverage On smooth surfaces of average porosity approximately 10m² per litre of Clear and 8m² per litre for the Finish. When coating over grit allow around 5m² per litre. Properties
