Glopane Epoxy is a solvent based, two pack coating for the protection of ferrous metals against corrosion it also offers high adhesion and abrasion resistance. It provides an ideal primer for Epoxy & Polyurethane finishes such as our Epiglo and Polytile paint systems. It is suitable for use as a primer or a self-finish.

Glopane Epoxy achieves its corrosion Inhibiting properties from the galvanic action which develops in corrosive conditions between the metallic zinc in the product and the steel surface. The metal is protected even in scratch lines where the substrate is exposed and the lateral spread of corrosion is prevented. Glopane Epoxy is ideally suited for use on surfaces which need long term protection i.e. bridges, gasholders, steel window frames, water & oil tanks, rainwater goods, atmospheric condensers etc. In its stoved form on: vehicle bodywork, white goods, steel equipment, hollow ware, traffic signs, springs etc.
